New Patient Orientation is designed to provide an overview of the Cancer Center and its services for newly diagnosed patients. New patient orientations provided the second Monday of every month from 12-1pm.

Group open to all Grady Health System cancer patients receiving radiation treatment. Learn through lively discussions how to better navigate Grady, and radiation treatment while interacting with other patients.

New Beginning Breast Cancer Support Group

Provides peer-to-peer support and education on a variety of topics important to breast cancer patients and their support system.

American Cancer Society’s Look Good…Feel Better

A free, hands-on, group workshop dedicated to helping female cancer patients cope with and combat the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Learn about skin care and make-up applications as well as demonstrations on hair/wig techniques.

Oncology Patient Education Seminar

These monthly educational sessions are created to empower all Grady cancer patients, cancer survivors, and their families and caregivers by presenting valuable information regarding navigating through Grady, the Cancer Center, and topics such as treatment, nutrition, survivorship, advanced directives, cancer legal aid, financial counseling and much more.
